Day 1
Haridwar/Dehradun/Rishikesh to Barkot (180–200 km / 6–7 hrs)
Begin your spiritual journey from Haridwar or Dehradun and drive towards Barkot, a serene hill town nestled in the Garhwal Himalayas. En route, enjoy scenic views of Mussoorie and Kempty Falls. Overnight stay in Barkot.
Day 2
Barkot – Yamunotri – Barkot (100 km round trip + 6 km trek each way)
Early morning drive to Janki Chatti, the base point for the 6 km trek to Yamunotri Temple. Visit the sacred temple of Goddess Yamuna, take a dip in the hot water kunds, and offer prayers. Return to Barkot by evening for an overnight stay.
Day 3
Barkot to Uttarkashi (80–100 km / 4–5 hrs)
After breakfast, proceed towards Uttarkashi, a spiritual hub and home to the famous Vishwanath Temple. En route, enjoy the mesmerizing natural beauty of the region. Evening visit to local temples. Overnight stay in Uttarkashi.
Day 4
Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi (200 km round trip)
Drive early morning to Gangotri, located on the banks of the River Bhagirathi. En route, halt at scenic points like Harsil Valley and Bhairav Ghati. Offer prayers at the Gangotri Temple, dedicated to Goddess Ganga. Return to Uttarkashi for overnight stay.
Day 5
Uttarkashi to Haridwar/Dehradun (180–200 km / 6–7 hrs)
After breakfast, drive back to Haridwar or Dehradun, marking the completion of your divine Gangotri Yamunotri Yatra with blessings of the holy rivers.
