Itinerary (Day Wise)

Embark on a sacred 8-day Char Dham journey starting from Dehradun to Uttarkashi, followed by a day trip to the holy Gangotri Temple, the origin of River Ganga. Continue to Guptkashi, then proceed to Kedarnath via Sonprayag and Gaurikund, either by a 17 km trek or helicopter. After darshan, descend and head to serene Chopta, the “Mini Switzerland of India,” for the Tungnath-Chandrashila trek. Next, travel to Badrinath Dham via Pipalkoti, completing your divine circuit. The yatra ends with a scenic return drive to Dehradun, filled with spiritual grace, majestic mountains, and unforgettable experiences.

Day 1

Dehradun - Uttarkashi (Drive - 230 Km/08 hr approx)

On arrival you will be provided assisted transfer from Dehradun airport followed by drive to Uttarkashi. On arrival check into the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 2

Uttarkashi– Gangotri (Drive - 100 Km/ 04 hrs approx) Gangotri – Uttarkashi (Return drive- 100 Km approx. )

In the morning after an early breakfast, drive towards Gangotri. Upon arrival, take a holy dip in the river Ganges & offer prayer to the Goddess Ganges, near to the temple spot the 02 revered places – Suryakund & Submerged Shivling. After darshan, drive back to Uttarkashi enroute visit Harsil. After continue drive to the hotel.


‘’The holy Gangotri temple is located at this sacred town. It is believed that at this place River Ganges descended on the earth after severe penance of King Bhagirathi. The Gangotri Temple was built by the Gurkha general Amar Singh Thapa in early 18th century. The Ganges originates from Gaumakh which is accessible after 19 Kms trek from Gangotri. During winters temple remain inaccessible due to heavy snowfall so statue of Goddess Ganges is brought down to Mukhba, a small village in Harsil which lies on the way to the Gangotri Shrine.’’

Day 3

Uttarkashi – Guptkashi ( Drive – 230 Km/ 09 hr approx. )

After breakfast drive towards Guptkashi, Moolgarh & Lambgoan further you can see the beautiful river Mandakini at Tilwara and continue drive to Guptkashi where you can offer your prayer at Ardhanarishwar Temple. Post darshan continue drive upon arrival check in at the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.



Day 4

Guptkashi - Sonprayag (Drive – 30 Km /45 min approx.) Gaurikund- Kedarnath (17 Kms- Trek/Helicopter)

After breakfast drive towards Guptkashi, Moolgarh & Lambgoan further you can see the beautiful river Mandakini at Tilwara and continue drive to Guptkashi where you can offer your prayer at Ardhanarishwar Temple. Post darshan continue drive upon arrival check in at the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5

Kedarnath – Gaurikund/Phata/Sersi (Trek/Helicopter) Gaurikund/Phata/Sersi – Chopta (70 Kms/3 hrs approx)

Start timely to reach on time to basecamp. Upon arrival at Gaurikund, hire the local jeep back for Sonprayag. Later proceed drive to Chopta, on arrival check in at campsite for overnight.

Day 6

Tungnath/Chandrashila trek (Trek 4 Km one way) Chopta – Pipalkoti (70 Km/ 03 hr approx)

Early morning trek to Tungnath through dense forest and enticing meadows, it is a 3 km trek. Tungnath is situated at a height of 3680mts above sea level. After resting for a while, you can head for (moonstone) Chandrashila peak which is 1 km ahead. The summit offers a 360-degree view of the surrounding & magnificent wide view of the snow-capped Himalayas. Later drive to Pipalkoti, on arrival check into the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 7

Pipalkoti – Badrinath - Pipalkoti (80 Km/ 03 hr approx one way)

After breakfast proceed drive to Badrinath. Today Pilgrims after having a bath in the Taptkund get blessed with divine darshan of BadrivishalBrahmakapal is significant for Pinddan Shraddh of ancestors (Pitrus). Post darshan visit Mana village where you can spot Vyas Gufa, Maatamoorti, Charanpaduka, Bhimkund and the "Mukh" of the Saraswati River. Later drive back to Pipalkoti with stopover at Joshimath to pay homage to Winter home of Badrinath in Narsingh Temple. Today enroute Vishnuprayag can be done. On arrival check into the hotel for an overnight stay.


‘’Badrinath Dham is located between the two mountains i.e. Nar and Narayan, Badrinath Dham or Badrinarayan temple is a holy shrine, dedicated to Lord Vishnu. The sacred temple is first among the four holiest Char Dham of India & prime among the Chota Char Dham of Uttarakhand. The majestic holy shrine is also one among the 108 Divya Desams dedicated to Lord Vishnu.’’

Day 8

Pipalkoti – Dehradun (Drive- 260 Km/ 08 hr approx)

After breakfast proceed drive to Dehradun via NandaprayagKarnaprayagRudraprayag & Devprayag. En-route pay your offering to Dhari Devi temple in Srinagar, later continue drive to Dehradun to connect for onward destination.
