Day 1
Haridwar- Uttarkashi (Drive- 190 Kms/07 Hr approx)
Early morning start drive to Uttarkashi. On arrival check-in at hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 2
Uttarkashi - Gangotri (Drive - 100 Kms/04 hrs approx) Return- Gangotri Uttarkashi
In the morning after an early breakfast, drive towards Gangotri. Upon arrival, take a holy dip in the holy river Ganges, (also known as Bhagirathi). After offering prayers drive back to Uttarkashi. On arrival check-in at hotel for overnight stay.
(The holy Gangotri temple is located at this sacred town. It is believed that at this place River Ganges descended on the earth after severe penance of King Bhagirathi. The Gangotri Temple was built by the Gurkha general Amar Singh Thapa in the early 18th century. The Ganges originates from Gaumakh which is accessible after 19 Kms trek from Gangotri. During winters temple remain inaccessible due to heavy snowfall so the statue of Goddess Ganges is brought down to Mukhba, a small village in Harsil which lies on the way to the Gangotri Shrine.)

Uttarkashi - Haridwar (Drive 190 Kms/07 hrs approx)
After breakfast drive to Haridwar. Enroute visit Rishikesh famous places l.e. Ram Jhula, Laxman Jhula, and Triveni Ghat. On arrival, Haridwar trip ends here.
