Itinerary (Day Wise)

Your Chopta-Auli journey from Haridwar begins with a scenic drive to Joshimath. The following day, you'll explore the breathtaking sights of Auli. Day three takes you to Chopta for a memorable trek to the Tungnath temple and the summit of Chandrashila, offering panoramic Himalayan views. On day four, you'll travel back to Haridwar. Finally, day five includes sightseeing in Haridwar before your departure, concluding your Himalayan adventure.

Day 1

Haridwar to Joshimath (280 km / Approx. 9 hrs)

We start early in the morning and drive towards Joshimath, passing through the sacred confluences of Devprayag, Rudraprayag, Karnaprayag, and Nandprayag. By evening, we reach Joshimath, check into the hotel, and rest for the night.

Day 2

Joshimath to Auli Sightseeing (12 km / Approx. 45 min)

After breakfast, we take a scenic drive or an exciting ropeway ride to Auli. On arrival, we enjoy a chair ride and visit the Auli Artificial Lake, a beautiful freshwater lake surrounded by majestic peaks. During winter, we experience a one-hour skiing session with an instructor. Later, we return to the hotel in Auli for an overnight stay.

Note: Chair ride and cable car tickets are arranged on a direct payment basis or can be booked in advance.

Day 3

Auli to Chopta (142 km / Approx. 4 hrs) & Tungnath-Chandrashila Trek (4 km / Approx. 5 hrs)

We start the morning drive to Chopta, often called the ‘Mini Switzerland of India.’ Upon arrival, we check into the camp and begin our trek to Tungnath Temple, the highest Shiva temple at 3,680 meters. After a short rest, we continue the trek to Chandrashila, which offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Himalayan peaks. Later, we trek back to Chopta and stay overnight at the campsite.

Day 4

Chopta to Haridwar (230 km / Approx. 7 hrs)

After breakfast, we drive back to Haridwar, one of India’s holiest cities. Upon arrival, we witness the sacred Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri, an unforgettable spiritual experience. We check into the hotel and stay overnight in Haridwar.

Day 5

Haridwar Sightseeing & Departure

We begin the day with visits to the revered Shaktipeeths—Mansa Devi Temple and Chandi Devi Temple—via a ropeway ride. After returning to the hotel, we explore famous landmarks like Daksh Mandir, Bharat Mata Mandir, and Shantikunj. Later, we drop you at the Haridwar railway station for your onward journey.
