Your 12-day Char Dham Yatra from Delhi commences with a drive to Haridwar, the gateway to the pilgrimage. The journey then proceeds to Barkot, followed by an excursion to Yamunotri, involving a trek to the sacred shrine. You'll then travel to Uttarkashi and further to Gangotri, returning to Uttarkashi. The pilgrimage continues to Guptkashi, the base for the Kedarnath leg. From Guptkashi, you'll reach Gaurikund and undertake a trek to the revered Kedarnath shrine, later returning to Guptkashi. The journey then takes you to Badrinath, one of the holiest Dhams. The return leg begins with a drive to Rudraprayag, followed by the final journey back to Haridwar and then to Delhi, concluding your sacred pilgrimage.
Day 1
Delhi to Haridwar (240 km / 5 hrs approx.)
The journey begins with a drive from Delhi to Haridwar. Upon arrival, we check into the hotel. In the evening, we attend the Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri, a truly mesmerizing experience. Later, we return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2
Haridwar to Barkot (215 km / 6 hrs approx.)
After breakfast, we drive towards Barkot via Dehradun and Mussoorie. Upon arrival, we check into the hotel and rest for the night.
Day 3
Barkot to Jankichatti (45 km) - Yamunotri (6 km trek one way) - Barkot
We start the day with a drive to Janki Chatti, the base for the Yamunotri Trek. Pilgrims can trek on foot or hire ponies or dolis. After seeking blessings at Yamunotri Temple, we trek back to Janki Chatti and return to Barkot for an overnight stay.
Day 4
Barkot to Uttarkashi (100 km / 4 hrs approx.)
After breakfast, we drive to Uttarkashi, a sacred town on the banks of the Bhagirathi River. Upon arrival, we check into the hotel and visit the Kashi Vishwanath Temple in the evening. Later, we return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 5
Uttarkashi to Gangotri (100 km / 4 hrs approx.) - Gangotri to Uttarkashi
Early in the morning, we leave for Gangotri, one of the holiest shrines dedicated to Goddess Ganga. Pilgrims take a holy dip in the river Ganges before offering prayers at the temple. After darshan, we return to Uttarkashi for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 6
Uttarkashi to Guptkashi (230 km / 9 hrs approx.)
After breakfast, we drive toward Guptkashi, a town known for its spiritual significance. Upon arrival, we check into the hotel and relax for the night.
Day 7
Guptkashi to Gaurikund (30 km / 45 min approx.) - Kedarnath (17 km trek one way)
We start the day with a drive to Gaurikund, the base camp for the Kedarnath trek. Pilgrims can trek on foot or hire ponies, horses, or dolis. After reaching Kedarnath, we visit the temple for darshan and stay overnight near the shrine.
Day 8
Kedarnath to Guptkashi (120 km / 5 hrs approx.)
We wake up early to attend the morning aarti at Kedarnath Temple. After seeking blessings, we trek back to Gaurikund and drive to Guptkashi, where we check into the hotel and rest for the night.
Day 9
Guptkashi to Badrinath (220 km / 8 hrs approx.)
After breakfast, we travel to Badrinath, the final Dham of the pilgrimage. Upon arrival, we check into the hotel and attend the evening aarti at Badrinath Temple before staying overnight.
Day 10
Badrinath to Rudraprayag (160 km / 6 hrs approx.)
We begin the day with darshan at Badrinath Temple, followed by an optional visit to Mana Village, the last Indian village near the Indo-China border. Later, we drive to Rudraprayag, check into the hotel, and unwind for the night.
Day 11
Rudraprayag to Haridwar (160 km / 6 hrs approx.)
After breakfast, we drive toward Haridwar, stopping in Rishikesh to visit famous landmarks like Ram Jhula, Laxman Jhula, and Triveni Ghat. After exploring Rishikesh, we continue to Haridwar for an overnight stay.
Day 12
Haridwar to Delhi (240 km / 6 hrs approx.)
